The Contract Administrator is the person, literally, who administers the building contract between the client and the construction team. Sometimes this is done by an architect, quantity surveyor or project manager. We do it as lawyers.
As Contract Administrator, our role is split. On some matters, we act as the your agent, making decisions (with your delegated authority) which will bind you. For other matters, we are required to make impartial decisions, acting in a manner which is independent, impartial and fair when making those decisions.
